Childhood and youth
Adolph Thornton, Jr., who became famous under the stage name Young Dolph, was born on July 27, 1985 in Chicago. The boy grew up and was brought up in a dysfunctional large African-American family.

The Chicago native responded to detractors with the song and video clip Play Wit Yo’ Bitch and provoked a protracted creative conflict between the performers. The showdown ended in gunfights and mutual assassination attempts, fortunately not resulting in anyone’s death.
These events helped Young Dolph promote his second full-length album, Bulletproof, and the Niggas Get Shot Everyday EP.
In the late 2010s, Young Dolph, together with his cousin, musician Key Glock, introduced the world to the single Major, which rose to number 47 on the Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Later, the relatives created the LP Dum and Dummer, which allowed for the first time in his career to hit the top ten of the prestigious Billboard 200 hit parade and receive laudatory reviews from critics.
Solo projects from this period included Thinking Out Loud and Role Model, as well as mixtapes and EPs Rich Crack Bab, Gelato and Tracking Numbers. Young Dolph Death
On November 17, 2021, it was reported that Young Dolph was killed by an unknown assailant in a grocery store in Memphis while shopping for cookies for his mother. The cause of death was cited as a bullet wound to the chest.
The site where the musician was shot was threatened with civil unrest shortly after the incident. The state authorities took measures to avoid violence and calm the raging people.
