Xiaomi has expanded its Redmi product range with a new tablet called the Redmi Pad SE. This is a slightly simplified version of the Redmi Pad model introduced to the market last year.

The case of Redmi Pad SE is made of metal and is quite thin. It is only 7.36 mm thick and weighs 478 grams. The novelty is available in three colors: gray, purple and mint green.

The tablet features an 11-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a standard 16:10 aspect ratio. Declared dynamic refresh rate of 30-90 Hz, maximum brightness of 400 nits and support for 8-bit color.

Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip, which is manufactured using a 6-nanometer process technology. It consists of eight cores, the most powerful of which runs at a clock frequency of 2.4 GHz. Depending on the configuration, the tablet will receive 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 128 gigabytes of internal memory eMMC 5.1. MicroSD cards up to one terabyte are supported.

As for the cameras, the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP and supports video recording with Full HD resolution (30 frames per second). On the back is an 8-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. However, the Chinese did not have enough budget for the outbreak.

The battery life of the Redmi Pad SE is backed by an 8000mAh battery with a very slow charge of just 10W (via USB-C), and sound quality is met by four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. The operating system is Android 13, on top of which runs the MIUI 14 user interface.
