This year, Xiaomi will release several devices with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. In addition to the Redmi, Poco and mainstream brand products, the company will also introduce the gaming – focused Black Shark 6 series of smartphones .
According to insider Mukul Sharma, Xiaomi will bring the Black Shark 6 series to the market later this year with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
This is to be expected as these are gaming phones and are typically equipped with the latest and most powerful Qualcomm chipsets available. Unfortunately, the insider does not provide any additional information about this upcoming gaming smartphone.
It is worth noting that Xiaomi often releases its main phones at the beginning of the year and updates them by the end of the year. Last year, for example, the Black Shark 4 series debuted in March, while the Black Shark 4S series debuted in October.
The Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro smartphones were also released in March of this year, so an update in October will come in handy.
Another thing is whether these phones will be called the Black Shark 5S series or, nevertheless, Black Shark 6.
