Microsoft has announced the development of a new feature in Windows 11 called Suggested Actions.
The function is similar to those in the iPhone, Android and iPad: when copying a certain type of text, the system offers one or another action.
On mobile platforms, when you copy a date, time, or phone number, a pop-up window appears with the suggestion to create an event in the calendar or call using your favorite application.
Windows 11, when copying a phone number in the form of a pop-up window, will offer to call via Microsoft Teams and show the button required for this, or offer to create an event in Outlook or save the date to the Windows Calendar when such text is selected.
“When you copy a date, time, or phone number, Windows will suggest the appropriate actions for you, such as creating calendar events or making phone calls using your favorite apps,” Microsoft said in a blog post.
