Now there are several options for placing the fingerprint scanner. In devices released a few years ago, the fingerprint scanner is usually located on the back, while in modern smartphones it is located on the side or under the screen. Which of the accommodation options do users like the most?
The corresponding survey was conducted by our colleagues from the AndroidAuthority website. According to its results, it turned out that the overwhelming majority of smartphone owners prefer a side fingerprint scanner. Almost half of the respondents voted for this option – 47.77%. The second place went to the under-screen scanner – 26.52%. Third – the classic fingerprint on the back, he got 22.17% of the votes.
Interestingly, 3.55% of the respondents reported that they do not use a fingerprint scanner at all. Apparently, these are old-school users who prefer graphic keys and passwords, or are committed to the Face ID system, who knows.
And which location of the fingerprint scanner do you like best? Let me know in the comments.
