Life will become a little easier
WhatsApp has finally added the ability to transfer chat history from Android to iPhone. Previously, it was only possible in the opposite direction – from iPhone to Android. At the same time, with the same Telegram, it’s enough just to log into your account from a new device – all correspondence will be in place.
The update helps solve a long-standing problem with WhatsApp – it has historically been difficult to transfer chats between the two mobile operating systems.
For now, the transfer process only works on new or reset iPhones. The Move to iOS app is being used. When setting up your iPhone, you need to select the “Transfer data from Android” option, and then follow the instructions.
Once the iPhone is fully set up, you need to open WhatsApp and sign in using the same phone number. The entire chat history should appear.
To transfer, you need Android 5 or later and iOS 15.5.
