WhatsApp has released several new features, including the ability to mute individuals during group calls. If everything continues in this spirit, then the functionality of the messenger will no longer be so “cut” in comparison with others.
In addition to the new mute feature, WhatsApp now allows you to send messages to specific people during a group call. WhatsApp is also rolling out a new banner that will alert you when someone new has joined a conversation after it’s already started.
WhatsApp previously announced that you can now choose which contacts can see your profile photo, information about you, and a status that shows when you were last active on the messenger.
