According to our colleagues from WABetaInfo, right now the developers of the service are testing the possibility of returning a deleted message. It will work as follows: after deleting a message, the user will see the “Cancel” button for some time.
It is this button that will allow inattentive users to return the message if it was deleted, for example, by mistake.
At the moment, traces of the function can be found in the Android version of WhatsApp under the number 2.22.13.5. It is not entirely clear whether the developers intend to include the new feature in the stable version of the messenger. But the fact of testing already gives some hope.
