The invisible mode in WhatsApp is a very useful feature, but it has at least one significant drawback – the lack of flexible settings. Now you can display your online status for three categories of users: for no one, for everyone at once, and only for people from the contact list. But there is no opportunity to hide from someone in particular from your acquaintances, while maintaining visibility for everyone else.
But very soon such an opportunity will appear. The WhatsApp developers decided to make a fit for all connoisseurs of selective privacy – an additional setting for the stealth mode will be delivered in one of the future updates. Together with it, the fourth option will become available: display online for all contacts, except … There you can add people from the phone book as a kind of black list – and your online will not glow for them.
The developers are still testing the new feature, but judging by the reviews, it is already working stably in the beta version of the messenger. So it is unlikely that the upgrade of the stealth mode will have to wait a long time. So you can already be happy for everyone who wants to hide from the authorities, overly obsessive friends and former passions.
