WhatsApp has added a long-awaited feature for iPhone and Android smartphones

Competition among messengers has intensified, and the success of Telegram is forcing even mastodons as stingy with new features as WhatsApp to change for the better. The application has finally added the opportunity that many users have been waiting for – to log into one account from several smartphones at once.

Until recently, this option could only be used in versions of WhatsApp for a computer, and also in the web version of the messenger, accessible through a browser.

And it was terribly inconvenient, especially in cases where the messenger was needed simultaneously on a smartphone and tablet. Now full-fledged multitasking is available in WhatsApp test builds, and should soon appear in the main messenger client.

As with the desktop version, it will be possible to connect up to four different devices to one WhatsApp account. That is, no one will interfere with using the messenger, for example, from two smartphones, a tablet and a PC. The smartphone will remain the main one, as before. And to connect everything else to the account, you will need to scan the QR code generated on the smartphone from which the account was activated for the first time.
