Dyson announced a new stage in the development of its business. The company announced the creation of its own robot, which is designed to help its owners with household chores.
At the moment, Dyson has only prototypes of future assistants, which the company demonstrated to the public. They are able to do automatic cleaning and help people with household chores.
As the main example, the company’s specialists showed a device that has a robotic arm with a vacuum cleaner nozzle for cleaning furniture. There is also a version with a manipulator with a soft grip – it can help in moving and unfolding dishes.
Dyson predicts the launch of the first ready-made robots by 2030. To implement the plans, the company announced the hiring of 250 robotic engineers specializing in technologies in the field of computer vision and machine learning.
