And it’s a perfectly logical decision.
Right now, Samsung is actively mass-producing two new flexible smartphones at once – the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
According to available data, the Korean tech giant expects to ship a total of 10 million units of both devices. But much more interesting is the ratio in which the company intends to produce each of the models.
According to insiders, in 2022 Samsung made a bet on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 – it will produce 70% of the total number of foldable smartphones produced, while the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will account for only 30%.
This decision, apparently, is due to the fact that in the last generation it was the Z Flip series that showed its best side.
Recall that the estimated release date for the updated Galaxy Z line is August 2022.
