In total, about 90 test flights are planned.
Russia had already begun testing a BAS-200 helicopter-type drone. The first flight lasted 11 minutes.
It is noted that certification flight tests began on the basis of the Mil and Kamov National Helicopter Center, and the first flight as part of the tests took place on the basis of the Russian Shuevoye airfield.
The drone took off to a height of 100 meters, and the total flight time was 11 minutes. BAS-200 attained a speed of 60 kilometers per hour.
In general, within the framework of these certification tests, the BAS-200 should make 90 flights, and the type certificate for the BAS-200 is planned to be received in 2022.
The publication noted that three prototypes of the BAS-200 were manufactured in February, and in April the production and acceptance tests of the drones were completed, “BAS-200 became the first Russian helicopter-type drone to be included in the register of experimental aviation.”
