Premium subscription can be bought with stolen cards
Telegram users began to complain about the possibility of obtaining a Premium subscription without SMS confirmations when making a purchase. This is used by scammers.
As noted, the attackers pay for the subscription with stolen cards. According to users, this happens because Telegram does not provide confirmation of transactions via SMS, it is enough to indicate the card number, CVV code and expiration date. As a result, the cardholder will receive only a notification about the withdrawal of money.
So far, neither Pavel Durov, nor any other messenger developers have responded to user complaints.
