Sony’s new flagship has arrived in Russia

Sony has announced the release of the new flagship Xperia 5 III in Russia. Initially, the release of the gadget was supposed to take place in the summer, but adjustments to the plans of the Japanese were made by the coronavirus pandemic. To smooth out the latency, Sony offered the first customers a reduced price tag and good TWS headphones as a gift.

The Xperia 5 III has a traditional brand design. The flagship received an elongated 6.1-inch OLED screen with a frequency of 120 Hz without cutouts, a Snapdragon 888 processor and 8 GB of RAM. Permanent memory can be 128 or 256 GB.

The battery capacity is 4500 mAh, there is a 30-watt charger, stereo speakers, IP68 moisture protection, NFC and Android 11. The model’s distinctive features are a minijack and a slot for a flash drive, which competitors do not have in principle in 2021.

Also, the Xperia 5 III is equipped with an advanced camera with Zeiss optics and a resolution of 12 MP on all sensors. The main module and the telephoto lens have optical stabilization, and the shirik has received phase autofocus for macro shooting.

During the spring announcement, Sony announced that it would demand 84,990 rubles for the new product. But in the end, the Xperia 5 III came to Russia for 79,990 rubles, and the set comes with Sony WF-C500 wireless headphones.

On the Market, this smartphone costs at least 73 930 rubles, and 8 thousand will have to be paid separately for headphones. It turns out that it is quite profitable to take a kit from Sony. The promotion will be valid until December 23.
