Together with the flagship Xperia 1 IV and the mid-range Xperia 10 IV, the Japanese company Sony introduced yesterday a budget smartphone that continued the Ace series – Xperia Ace III. Like its predecessors, it will probably only be sold in Japan.
At the same time, the company corrected the main weak point of the previous generation by replacing the frankly outdated Helio P35 chipset with a budget, but many times more powerful Snapdragon 480. At the same time, 5G support appeared in the smartphone.
In addition, the cameras have changed in the smartphone: the back has lost its 2-megapixel plug and has become single, and the aperture ratio has increased to f / 1.8, and the front camera has been cut to 5 megapixels.
Otherwise, the concept has not changed – Sony offers an affordable smartphone in a very compact package. The screen size is 5.5″ and measures 140 x 69 x 8.9mm.
Water resistant, FM radio, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and Android 12 out of the box. Sales will start in June, the price is the largest Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo will be 34,408 yen (17,700 rubles).Available colors – black, white, blue and orange.
