Don’t know what HP is? Relax, Sony got you covered.

Sony has launched a new section on its website – a dictionary of gaming terms. It is in English, it will clarify the situation for those who do not understand what loot, HDR, DPS, drop, FPS, etc. are.

The project is officially titled “The Ultimate List of Popular Gaming Terms”. The website is navigable in English alphabet.

The term “noob”, for example, stands for “short for “novice” and is often used as a derogatory term to ridicule inexperienced players, often in a multiplayer game.”

There is also an explanation for “xp” (XP) – “short for “experience” (experience) or “experience points” (experience points), XP refers to a gradually accumulated reserve of points, which usually manifests itself in the form of a level or set of attributes assigned to the main character.”

You can read the dictionary in its entirety at this link.
