Hello everyone, I’m prayertitus, on this article today am going to teach you how to fix “404 Not Found: The resource requested could not be found on this server!” this particular error is very common in wordpress and the major cause or the error are:
- when you’re accessing a page that does not exist on server.
- when you move to new web hosting.
when you’re accessing a page that does not exist, there is no explanation for that. it means the page has been removed or does not exist at all.
When you newly move from one hosting to another, this error commonly pops up. I faced similar issue recently when I moved my web hosting from kadnetworks to namecheap I waited for namecheap staffs to intervene but unfortunately it was as if they were on leave. so I had to do the job by myself.
How to solve
Login to your wordpress dashboard > goto settings
Click permalink
do not change anything just click on save changes
Boom! problem solved
