Samsung is working on a foldable tablet. (Cool!)

Tomorrow, August 10 at the Unpacked event, Samsung will introduce two next-generation foldable smartphones – Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4. However, recent reports show that these are not the only foldable devices Koreans are working on. We are waiting for a tablet with a flexible screen.

Information that Samsung is working on a foldable device with a larger diagonal than a smartphone was published by an insider Ice Universe. He suggests that the novelty will be called the Galaxy Tab Fold, and will show it at an event dedicated to the premiere of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9.

Insider yeux1122 also shared information about an unusual novelty. He confirmed that the tablet should hit the market at the same time as the Galaxy Tab S9. However, according to an insider, the model name will refer to the Z Fold and Z Flip series and sound like Galaxy Z-Tab or Galaxy Flex-S.

When is the premiere possible?

If these unofficial reports are confirmed, and a folding screen tablet is released with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, it will be available for purchase early next year. The Galaxy Tab S8 was launched in February, so the release of new products will most likely take place in January or February 2023 .

There is no other information about the new device yet. If the release date turns out to be correct, there should be many more leaks about this gadget in the coming months.

So far, one can only guess what technology the Koreans will use to create a folding tablet. Perhaps the company will use the technology of one of the prototypes that were shown at Display Week 202. And there, we recall, the Slidable device was announced, i.e. with a retractable screen in the style of Oppo
