Everything goes to the fact that in the near future smartphones and Nokia push-button phones will disappear from the shelves of Russian stores. HMD Global, which manufactures and sells brand mobile devices, is about to leave the market. At least, Kommersant insists on this information, citing its sources.
In Russia, HMD Global has its own official representative office – Achemdi Mobile Rus LLC, which supplies gadgets. This company is going to be liquidated. There has been no official announcement from the company yet, but some distributors and retailers have already confirmed the information.
The share of smartphones from Nokia accounts for an insignificant part of the market – less than a percent. But push-button phones remain quite popular – 16.5%, and this figure has been growing rapidly this year. If you wanted to buy yourself a button Nokia, then it’s better to do it now, otherwise the opportunity will be provided only through parallel import.
