Rare beast: Chuwi Chinese tablet with Snapdragon processor is being sold at half price

Manufacturers of inexpensive Chinese tablets rarely use Qualcomm processors, much more often MediaTek and UNISOC chips are in their place. The Chuwi brand has opted for the Snapdragon platform, which definitely sets its latest model apart from the competition. In addition, now at the AliExpress sale, the novelty is being given away with a good discount.

Chuwi HiPad Max is equipped with the Snapdragon 680 mobile platform, which can be found in many smartphones from various brands. This is a 6-nanometer chip that scores about 270 thousand points in AnTuTu, which makes the gadget suitable for games and any multimedia tasks. With autonomy, there will also be complete order.

But not only the Qualcomm Snapdragon system draws attention to the new HiPad Max. The tablet also has 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal storage (read and write speeds up to 550MB/s) and supports microSD cards up to 512GB. These features are sufficient for the vast majority of users.

Other highlights of the model include a quad stereo speaker system, dual SIM slots and a dual 4G LTE modem. Communication is provided by Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi, which supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Separately, it is worth mentioning support for five location systems (GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BDS, A-GPS) and support for Google Widevine L1, thanks to which, among other things, you can watch streaming video in 1080p resolution and higher: from Netflix and Dysney+.

The user will have a 10.36-inch IPS display with 2K resolution (2000 × 1200 pixels), displaying a billion colors and having a brightness of up to 400 nits. The manufacturer claims that the bezels around the screen are 7mm wide and the screen-to-body ratio is 84%. There is also a 5-megapixel camera on the front and an 8-megapixel camera on the back.

The tablet runs on Android 12, is just 8mm thick and weighs 440 grams. The whole thing is powered by a 7000mAh battery that can be charged with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology with 26.6W fast charging. According to the manufacturer, it will provide up to 10 hours of Internet browsing, up to 6 hours of video playback, up to 33 hours of music playback or up to 5 hours of games. They promise that the standby time will be up to 700 hours (more than 29 days).
