POCO in Vietnam introduced a new ultra-budget smartphone C40, which was noted mainly for its hardware. The fact is that the “sub-brand” of Xiaomi used the 11-nm JLQ JR510. This is a Chinese development (an attempt to bypass American technology) that offers 8 Cortex-A55 cores at 2 GHz.
It is expected to be comparable to the entry-level chipsets MediaTek Helio P22/P35 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. Added “exotic” 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM, a simple 6.71 “IPS display with HD + resolution with a huge 6000 mAh battery with 18-Wh charging.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the back. Price – 3,490,000 in local currency, which is equivalent to $149. Release in other regions will be specified later.
