No Snapdragon and Exynos: Samsung will create completely new processors for the flagship Galaxy S series

Written By O. Love

I wonder what will come out of this

Samsung is one of the first smartphone manufacturers to start producing its own processors for mobile devices. Now, apparently, she decided to go one step further.

It is reported that the Korean IT giant is actively working on a new line of SoCs, which will be implemented exclusively in the flagship Galaxy S series.

As a result, the brand’s top smartphones will no longer be equipped with Exynos and Snapdragon chips.

The reason for this decision by Samsung’s management is dissatisfaction with the scandal with the slowdown of Galaxy S22 smartphones due to the Game Optimization Service and the rather strong heating of models based on both Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200.

According to available data, the first Galaxy S, which will receive a new processor, will be released no earlier than 2025.
