The closer the release of MIUI 14, the more details about the firmware become known. Beta testers report that the upcoming assembly has a number of cosmetic improvements.
For example, in MIUI 14 Early Beta 22.8.17, the control panel has been noticeably redesigned. It will become common for short cuts and notifications, and will visually resemble the one used in the clean version of Android 13.
In addition, the Chinese borrowed the design of the music player from the 13th version of Android. Almost everything has migrated: the demonstration of the “cover” of the track, the progress bar moving along with the song, and the changing inscriptions.
The developers also paid attention to the standard compass application. Now it does not look as minimalistic as before, but there is clearly more information.
Also, the Chinese revised the design of the calculator, adding a stroke so that the keys do not merge and are more distinguishable.
Of course, these are not all the improvements that MIUI 14 is rich in – by the final release, the firmware will change even more. The update will roll out to devices at the end of 2022, along with the release of Xiaomi 13.
