Lenovo has introduced a new flagship phone – Lenovo Legion Y70 . Usually aggressive gaming devices come out under this sub-brand, but this time the Chinese decided to surprise and released a device with a discreet design, which also became the thinnest Android flagship. The thickness of the novelty is only 7.99 mm!

The 6.67-inch display of the device is made using AMOLED technology and has a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels, which corresponds to the FHD + standard. The panel refreshes at 144Hz, has a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, and supports HDR 10+ content. At the top, in a small cutout, is a 16-megapixel front camera.

As befits a flagship, the Lenovo Legion Y70 has a top-end Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, which is accompanied by up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of ROM. The main camera consists of three sensors and includes a 50 MP main photo sensor with optical stabilization and support for 8K video recording, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The device received a 5100 mAh battery with 68 W fast charging, as well as stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos technology. The phone will be sold with Android 12 OS in the proprietary ZUI 14 interface.

Sales of the gadget will begin on August 22 at the following prices:

  • Lenovo Legion Y70 8/128 GB – $437;
  • Lenovo Legion Y70 12/256 GB – $496;
  • Lenovo Legion Y70 16/512 GB – $629.

The novelty will be available in three colors: gray, white and red. Why not a “flagship killer” at this price?
