It seems that a little more – and the Russian auto industry will cease to be associated with the word “cheap”. Since December 1, AvtoVAZ has raised prices for LADA cars for the seventh time in a year, and this increase was the largest in 2021. The last time the price changed was in the middle of October.
The price hike was known in advance – the company warned dealers on November 25. Then it was expected that prices will rise slightly, by 7-10 thousand rubles. However, the manufacturer decided not to waste time on trifles: least of all – by 8-16 thousand – only “Niva” went up in price. For other models, the price tag was immediately raised by 25-40 thousand. On average, across the entire LADA catalog, prices increased by 28 thousand, or 3.18%.

Compared to the beginning of 2021, Grants have risen in price by 20%, Vesta by 23%, Largus by 24%, and XRAY by 21%. The reasons why prices soared upward are traditionally not explained.
