Huawei introduced the FreeBuds Pro 2 wireless headphones. The main change from the first generation was the emphasis on sound: dual dynamic drivers with Hi-Res Audio support are used, which reproduce a wider frequency range – from 14 to 48 thousand Hz.
In the new system, one radiator is responsible for low frequencies, the other for high frequencies, which should significantly improve the sound quality. The French company Devialet, which specializes in creating equipment for audiophiles, helped the Chinese to implement this feature.
FreeBuds Pro 2 has other interesting features as well. For example, an adaptive equalizer. It analyzes the conditions in which the user wears the headphones and sets the optimal sound settings for them. The active noise cancellation system works on the basis of three microphones, thanks to which the total ANC power reaches 47 watts. This is 7 W more than its predecessor.
The novelty will be appreciated by those who often use headphones as a headset. FreeBuds Pro 2 has an advanced conversation noise reduction algorithm that constantly learns and filters out speech better every time.
The Chinese did not disclose the exact battery capacity. It is stated that together with the charging case, the headphones can work up to 30 hours. The charge of one earbuds is enough for 4.5 hours of music playback with noise reduction and for 6 hours without it. Unlike the first generation, the novelty has IP54 moisture protection.
Pre-orders for FreeBuds Pro 2 are already open. The price of the headphones is 200 euros, the start of sales is scheduled for July 11.
