It turned out to be quite an interesting device.
Huawei has announced its new laptop with a 16-inch screen – MateBook 16s.
A distinctive feature of the device is that the top model boasts a flagship 14-core Intel Core i9-12900H processor. It operates at frequencies up to 5 GHz.
It is important to understand that there is no discrete graphics card here. In this regard, Huawei refused to use a powerful cooling system in the device – instead, only two copper heat pipes are used, as well as two standard fans.
Among other things, we can note a touch display with a resolution of 2520 by 1680 pixels, several USB Type-C ports, as well as one HDMI.
The battery capacity of the MateBook 16s is 84 Wh, while from the native charger it is charged from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes.
As for prices, for the version with the Intel Core i9-12900H, 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, they ask for only $1,495. The start of sales is scheduled for June 6th.
