In Europe at least 376 times a day

ICCL – The Irish Civil Liberties Council has released a study report on the exchange of user data between companies for the sake of advertising promotion.

The report says that the “drain” of the data of the average European user between companies occurs approximately 376 times a day.

In the US, that’s at least 747 times a day. Moreover, this happens automatically, user permission is not required.

At the same time, the report also says that thanks to these methods, large Internet services that millions of people use every day remain free.

The report included Google’s figures for the last 30 days, but did not include information about the activities of Amazon and Meta.
