The Honor number line, which will soon be replaced with the Honor 70 generation, has been positioned in the role of middle peasants over the past couple of generations, while the Honor Magic series devices have acted as flagships.
Now the company has decided to return the former greatness of the series by officially confirming the chipset of the eldest of the three models of new products.
So, “under the hood” Honor 70 Pro + will have a top-end MediaTek Dimensity 9000 that can compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
But lower models are not far behind: according to rumors, Honor 70 will be equipped with a fresh Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, and its Pro modification will be Dimensity 8000.
By the way, the newest 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 camera is announced for the whole trio, the first pictures from which are already available. The announcement of the Honor 70 series will take place on May 30.
