Machine learning algorithms will help him
Google uses machine learning to improve its products in a variety of ways, from filtering email spam to offering more relevant search results. The Chrome browser is no exception – the company said that machine learning algorithms have brought new things to the program.
Google decided to pay attention to the problem of annoying requests for notifications from sites. On the one hand, such notifications can help you receive information from sites that are of interest to you. On the other hand, endless requests can be really annoying.
Chrome has learned to predict which requests are most likely not needed by the user. The browser does this based on the user’s history of interactions with similar permission requests in the past.
In addition, machine learning models helped the browser detect 2.5 times more potentially malicious sites and phishing attacks.
