It seems that the company is waiting for a new processor
Rumors have been circulating for a long time that Google is preparing to release a foldable smartphone Pixel Fold. Now there is information that the company has postponed its release – the device will not be available at the end of this year.
Google’s first foldable smartphone has been reportedly delayed until spring 2023. However, the exact launch date of the device is not yet known.
Insiders claim that the delay is not related to problems with the display, but suggest that the company is simply waiting for a new generation of the proprietary Tensor chipset or some software improvements.
It is worth noting that most of the leading smartphone manufacturers have launched their flexible models on the market. Samsung is the market leader in foldable devices.
The South Korean giant is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the coming months.
