Since the release of WhatsApp back in 2009, the message editing feature has been one of the most anticipated. Something similar can be found among Twitter fans.
And now, apparently, the developers of the messenger heard the pleas of their users. Our colleagues from WABetaInfo have published a screenshot of the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android. On it you can see how an already sent message can be edited after sending it.
At the same time, as the journalists say, right now the messenger team is actively working on the implementation of this feature for the iOS and PC versions of the service.
Recall that earlier, in 2017, WhatsApp developers have already begun to develop similar functionality. Although, then such an opportunity did not reach the release stable version of the application.
Judging by the seriousness of the team’s intentions, this time everything will be different.
