Rumors about the upcoming Meta smartwatch have been around for a long time. They were scheduled to launch in 2023, but the company decided to cancel development for some reason. Now, a prototype smartwatch has surfaced online showing off its design and dual camera setup.
The 5MP front camera was supposed to be placed in a waterdrop notch in the screen, and the 12MP one was located at the back along with several sensors. The Meta watch case can be removed and used for photography and video recording.
The canceled device was supposed to offer GPS, cellular, and Wi-Fi connectivity. It is reported that the device was supposed to provide up to 18 hours of battery life without recharging. According to rumors, the smartwatch was supposed to cost about $349.
