The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, on Thursday detains the former Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos.
According to Channel’s TV, Obiano, who has been on the Commission’s watchlist, and was arrested at about 8.30pm. He was reportedly on his way out of the country to Houston, Texas in the United States.
Obiano’s arrest comes hours after his wife was slapped by Bianca Ojukwu at his successor, Charles Soludo’s governorship inauguration.
