Projects included both old and new.
GameGangsta YouTube channel tested two builds with GeForce GTX 1060 and Radeon RX 6400 graphics cards. In some games, the performance difference between them was almost not felt.
The authors of the GameGangsta YouTube channel found out which video card is more suitable for games: the RX 6400 or the GTX 1060. The builds were tested in eight games. Projects included Grand Theft Auto V, Rainbow Six Siege, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, Far Cry 6, Forza Horizon 5. All games ran at 1080p.
Grand Theft Auto V ran at very high graphics settings. The average FPS in it was 37 fps with the RX 6400, and 53 fps with the GTX 1060. In very rare events, the indicators were 29 fps and 34 fps, respectively.
In Rainbow Six Siege with the ultra preset, average performance was 168 fps and 143 fps with the RX 6400 and GTX 1060, respectively. In very rare events, the values were within 112 fps and 78 fps, respectively.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey ran on ultra-high graphics settings. The average performance here was 28 fps with the RX 6400 and 29 fps with the GTX 1060. In extremely rare events, the performance was 12 fps in both cases.
In Red Dead Redemption 2 with the ultra preset, the average FPS was around 44 fps (RX 6400) and 31 fps (GTX 1060). In very rare events, performance dropped to 27 fps and 23 fps, respectively.
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla , at high graphics settings, the average frame rate was 29 fps with the RX 6400 and 33 fps with the GTX 1060. In extremely rare events, these values dropped to 12 fps and 11 fps, respectively.
Watch Dogs Legion came with a high preset. Average framerates here were 45fps (RX 6400) and 42fps (GTX 1060), with very rare events reaching 27fps with both configurations.
Far Cry 6 launched with the ultra preset. The average FPS in the game was 51 fps with the RX 6400 and 43 fps with the GTX 1060, in extremely rare events the performance was 8 fps and 17 fps respectively.
Finally, Forza Horizon 5 ran on ultra graphics settings. On average, it managed to get 36 fps with the RX 6400, 25 fps with the GTX 1060. In very rare events, the values were 20 fps and 19 fps, respectively.
On average, in all eight projects , the assembly with the RX 6400 video card provided greater performance. The difference between it and the GTX 1060 was about 9 percent: 55 fps versus 50 fps. At the same time, in the projects of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Grand Theft Auto V, the GTX 1060 was in the lead.
