Over the past few years, Apple has been actively trying to become the most eco-friendly company. That was the cause of the manufacturer’s complete removal of charging unit when selling smartphones.
But this, apparently to Apple, was not enough. As it became known, starting this week, the IT giant will start shipping refurbished iPhone 12 in a new brown box. It is 100% plastic-free and made from bleach-free paper.
Note that until recently, all refurbished iPhones were delivered in an ordinary white box. At the same time, the “experiment” with eco-packaging will only apply to the iPhone for now.
But given the corporation’s love of savings, we can expect a transition to brown boxes in the case of the rest of the brand’s devices that have gone through repairs.
