Xiaomi introduced its first convertible tablet (2-in-1) based on Windows. Basically, it’s a 12.4-inch device with an additional keyboard that can turn it into an ultra-portable laptop.
The device was called XiaomiBook S. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor, which is manufactured using a 7nm process technology. The chipset was released in the same generation as the Snapdragon 865.
The 12.4-inch LCD has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The company promises a brightness of 500 nits. The body of the tablet is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy, has a thickness of 8.95 mm and weighs only 720 g.
The laptop has USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. The battery capacity is not specified, but according to official figures, the device will last 13.4 hours with normal use. Supports 65W charging.
The price of XiaomiBook S 12.4” is 700 euros. The keyboard case is priced at 150 euros.
